I have now been
treating lots of Patients with my Cosmetic Acupuncture, including one man. Even
the abdominal Cosmetic Acupuncture is working well. I am now working on protocols
for the buttocks and thighs.
Have a look at
the Cosmetic Acupuncture pages for my new before and after photos. If this is
not proof, then what is?!
I am now the only
Acupuncturist in the UK to be qualified in the Mei Zen system of Cosmetic
Acupuncture so I am pleased. This may give me an 'edge' on all the dreadful herb
clinics that are sprouting up all over the place. Some of them don't even speak
English! How can a patient tell if they are qualified? One of
the herb clinics closed down this month, I am pleased.
I have now finished my Bsc (Hons)
degree in Acupuncture studies. I went to the College of
Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. I passed with a 2.2 but came away
with a very bad feeling. The College deliberately misquoted my dissertation so
that they could mark it down. I ended up making a complaint to Kingston
University. Because I choose not to join the British Acupuncture Council and
have joined the much better Complementary Medical Association, the College is
run by BAcC. members, they joined together to try to discredit my studies. This
was a real eye opener and has made me see just how much 'politics' there are in
the Acupuncture world. I have just found out that Acupuncture is to be regulated
as 'a profession ancillary to medicine'. This is a good thing and one in the eye
for the BAcC!
I did my research on the subject
of Dental Acupuncture which was very interesting. I recently went to the British
Dental Acupuncture Society in London to do a one hour presentation on the
subject of giving up smoking with Acupuncture. It was very well received and I
hope to be working closely with them in the future.
As for my garden. The steps are
finished, I am now putting in the garden lighting and building a Mediterranean
seat at the back of the house.

Bye from Kim
